On earth this Chakra is associated with a volcano in the Casacade Mountains and has been a revered holy site for Native Americans long before new-agers came along. What: Also known as Muladhara, the root Chakra is found at the base of the spine and associated with the colour red.

Coinciding with places that have been worshiped for centuries, in more recent times the Earth’s Chakra energy points have become places of pilgrimage for those wishing to ‘tune-in’ to their higher powers. If you’re into yoga and believe in the 7 Chakras within your body, it shouldn’t be too much of a stretch to believe that mother Earth has 7 Chakras as well.
